Don't know the exact year but with the Falcon in the red and white costume I believe it is from the mid 70's. A lot of kids probably got this as a Christmas gift back then.

Jack Kirby's Captain America and Batman

I was reading a scan and they had this as the last page to let you know where the scan came from. I had to post it here for Cap and Jack Kirby fans as this shows a Jack Kirby Batman. It also brings to mind that people always treat Cap as if he has no superpowers. But the supersolider formula was to have given him superstrength at the very least. So if Batman were to take on Captain America just on their strength alone Cap would win.

Captain America Marble and Base

There was a time in our country when every little boy had a bag full of marbles. I did but never learned how to play as I lived far out in the country and no other kids nearby. One time when I visited my grandparents who lived in town I finally learned how to play the game. I was embarressed as I was the one who had the marbles but it was the others who knew how to play. They had their own marbles but theirs were in the house and mine was in my pocket.
I kept that bag close to me like they were the crown jewels. I loved how colorful they were. Well I would have loved this for its Cap image if I had it back then. You can get it for a decent price at Toys R Us.

Marvel Superhero Squad Episode 11 O Captain My Captain
I like the Marvel Superhero Squad Show. It's cute and entertaining. What I and disappointed about is that there is very little of Captain America when I watch. When he does appear it is only as a cameo to give them assignments. He is sort of the Charlie to their Angels. In this episode he has more to do. Thanks to You Tube here is episode 11 of the Marvel Superhero Squad.

New Header
I wanted to wait till after Thanksgiving but just couldn't. I held a contest last year and while this wasn't the winner I liked it enough to keep around to use for Christmas this year. This is from David, of Superman Fan.Net, and will grace this page till sometime in January. Thanks David.

I love this video. It shows that Captain America doesn't really need any help.

Captain America: Reborn #4

Just FYI to remind you that Captain America Reborn#4 comes out this Wednesday. How ong has it been since issue #3. Well they have a recap page to get you caught up. I don't remember the others having a recap page. It's pretty bad when there are so many weeks between issues you have to remind readers what they read before.

Krazy Little Comics: Captive American

I never saw these when I was a kid but I would have loved them. It also points out that back in the sixties it was against the law to wear the American flag. For some reason it seemed unamerican at the time.
If yo look close you can see a cameo by Plastic Man and Batman.

Megos Commerical
A 1980 commercial for the Captain America and Hulk figures by Mego. They say you can make them fly. Hulk had those miles long leaps so you can see the logic in that. However, unless he was in a plane, Captain America never could fly.

Cap Cap/Mask
Want to show how much you like Captain America but don't want to pay a lot for a costume this Halloween. Then I suggest this...
It is really a wool cap but when you pull it all the way down you have a mask. It has holes for the eyes and mouth. They even make some for Spider-man, Hulk and a skull one for the Punisher.
